Informal Labyrinth Gathering in Saffron Walden

July 17 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

All labyrinth enthusiasts are most welcome to join us for this informal, free-of-charge gathering

Plan for the Day:

10.30 am Meet in the town square
11.00 am Visit the historic turf maze on the Common
12.00 Visit Bridge End Gardens to see the restored Victorian hedge maze,
followed by a ‘bring your own’ picnic lunch
2pm Visit the Fry Art Gallery and see the Michael Ayrton labyrinth sculpture
3pm Visit to Jubilee Gardens bandstand labyrinth, then refreshments at Kim’s Tea Room
4pm Finish (and tea room closes)

NB We will mainly be outdoors and there will be some walking from place to place,
so dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a picnic lunch.

The best option for all-day parking in Saffron Walden is the large car park at Swan Meadow, and it’s only a short walk from there to the town square via King Street.
The ‘Visit Saffron Walden’ website is the best place for info on parking, maps and guides to the various things that participants might need to know: https://www.visitsaffronwalden.gov.uk/

With Jeff and Kimberly Saward, Andy Wiggins, Jan Sellers and Kay Barrett

Please let us know if you are planning to come by messaging Kay Barrett with your name, email address and mobile phone number.
